Mission

OUR MISSION

The Caroline Human Services Council develops and promotes a caring environment that provides efficient and effective services to residents of Caroline County by working in partnership with public and private individuals, agencies, and organizations.

WHAT IS A LOCAL MANAGEMENT BOARD?

Caroline Human Services Council is the Local Management Board (LMB) for Caroline County. Every county in Maryland, including Baltimore City, has an LMB. LMBs coordinate government agencies and non-profits in the community to best serve families and children. They identify priorities and target resources to ensure everyone is working together effectively. In its role as an LMB, Caroline Human Services Council takes on an important collaborative, coordinating role in the community.

As an LMB, much of our work is related to the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention, Youth & Victim Services. You can learn more about this office and its programs here.
