Each year the Caroline Human Services Council (LMB) begins the process of doing a deep dive into Caroline County data relative to children, youth and families to prepare a response to the FY26 Children's Cabinet Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). Together we will look at local data across the 4 Pillars of the ENOUGH Act, community assets, what we are currently doing that works and determine where gaps still exist. This process will assist the LMB Board of Directors in compiling the identified priority needs and gaps so funding can be effectively directed to address the needs and gaps in services. We need the voice of community members, youth, nonprofits, businesses, local government and child serving agencies across Caroline County to ensure funding is expended effectively and efficiently. The LMB will be centering the discussion around Governor Wes Moore's Strategic Plan priority of "Ending Childhood Poverty in Maryland".
We need your voice at the table. The LMB will be offering 2 sessions to accommodate everyone (1) February 7, 2025 9:00am - 12:00pm and (2) February 11, 2025 6:30pm-8:30pm. Both sessions will be held at Choptank Electric Meeting Room, 24820 Meeting House Road, Denton, MD
If you have questions concerning the Planning Sessions please do not hesitate to give Susan Runnels a call at 410.310.5661 or contact her at carolinehumanservicescouncil@gmail.com
